Tim Nave is an experimental folk artist from Carter County, Tennessee. He goes by TAKAT, or The Artist Known As Tim.  Bitter As Hell is a series of short albums that are inspired by his life and the area of Appalachia where he was raised.  The albums use storytelling, acoustic instruments, and a variety of folk genres to bring the tales to life.  The album is a reminder that the stories you don't tell will make you bitter and that it's better to find joy in spite of life.  

 

Albums are available on this site and all major streaming platforms now. Vinyl records will be available via Katzulhu Productions in 2024.
